Flying in for the weekend? Here's what you need to know.
Fly into Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) in Kingston. It's roughly 30–45 minutes from the church, depending on traffic.
Sangster International (MBJ) in Montego Bay is on the other side of the island, about four hours by road. If you can, book into KIN.
New Kingston is the most convenient base, about 5–10 minutes from 29 Hope Road. Well-known options in that area include The Courtleigh, The Knutsford Court, S Hotel Kingston, AC Hotel Kingston and Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel.

Uber operates in Kingston, and licensed JUTA taxis are available at the airport. If you'd rather drive yourself, rental cars are available at KIN — Jamaica drives on the left.
Knutsford Express runs comfortable coaches between Kingston, Ocho Rios and Montego Bay if you're making a trip of it.
September in Kingston is warm and humid — expect around 31°C (88°F) with a chance of afternoon showers. Indoor venues are air conditioned, so a light wrap is worth packing.
September falls within the Atlantic hurricane season. Travel insurance is a sensible precaution.
